2nd Annual New New Year's Eve Party

(NOTE: Before reading this post, please scroll down to the very bottom and hit "play" on the pop-out playlist so you can hear the music as you read.)

Good food, great friends, and a house full of nothing but confetti and love.

2nd year running and we're already looking forward to doing it again!
Dave surprised me with an overnight getaway so we arrived home just a couple of hours before the party was to start.

When short on time for decorating, family (thanks Dad and Julie!) and some old yarn always come in handy.
But, what truly makes a party are the people that surround you and we are blessed with a great group of friends.
(Each year I've used Custom Printables because their art is
cute and free!)
After the ball dropped most of us chose to kiss our family and friends while others of us opted for Santa.
After everyone had left we did a quick clean-up and then spent time with the fam.
At the end of the night I finally got around to polishing my nails with inspiration from Pinterest.
Shortly after, the sitter arrived so we kissed the kids goodbye. I threw on my favorite sassy shoes, grabbed the hubby, Dad and Julie and we were out the door for dinner and off to our friends' parties.
We didn't make it to all of the parties but, we got back just five minutes before midnight so we were able to watch the beautiful beach fireworks from our bedroom window and call my brother Josh with an early New Year's hello.
Until next year, sending best wishes that the next three hundred and sixty-five days are full of good health, happiness, laughter, hugs, prosperity, and a whole lot of confetti.
